Jessica Hall Kaufhold began her position as Instructor of Music and Director of Choirs at Jefferson State Community College in March 2003.  In addition to directing the Jefferson State Singers and Chorus, Mrs. Kaufhold teaches music appreciation, basic musicianship, and music theory.  In Fall 2004, she became the Chair of the Concert-Lecture Committee, and she currently serves as the Chair of the Liberal Arts Department on the Jefferson Campus.  Jessica is also on staff at Canterbury United Methodist Church in Mountain Brook, where she directs the youth choir.
 

Education
Mrs. Kaufhold, a Birmingham native, earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Birmingham-Southern College and her Master of Music from Louisiana State University, with a focus in music education and secondary focuses in choral conducting and music technology.
