I received my
Bachelor of Sciences degree in Psychology from South Dakota State University
and my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Minnesota State
University, Mankato. More recently I was employed at the University of
Alabama, Birmingham as a Project Consultant, working with individuals
experiencing maladaptive behavior changes due to Alzheimer's disease as well
as teaching part time at local community colleges. I have been teaching full
time at JSCC for
3 years.
I am most interested in learning
and behavior. How do we learn? Why do we behave the way we do? Can we change
our behavior? What strategies are useful in trying to change behavior?
My favorite
saying is "Your irresponsibility is not my emergency!"
